Car Park Planning

A fundamental requirement for the safe and efficient operation of most developments is a well designed car park.

Cambray have refined the principles of successful car park design and have applied them to a considerable number of developments of various natures and scales, resulting in parking areas that are safe, efficient, and convenient to use.

We will review and suggest improvements to design as they relate to traffic matters.  Some of the points Cambray would usually consider are:

  • Vehicle access locations;

  • On-site vehicle parking provisions;

  • Car park layout and vehicle circulation arrangements;

  • Pedestrian and cyclist facilities, including cycle parking and end trip facilities;

  • Servicing requirements, including access, egress and manoeuvring swept path analysis; and

  • Refuse collection arrangements, including manoeuvring.
